It's barely a month since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani announced that they are dating, and now they are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
According to new reports, the 39-year-old country music superstar and the 46-year-old rock princess are thinking about marriage.
In fact, the No Doubt lead singer already proposed to her new boyfriend as reported by Hollywood Life.
"Blake asked Gwen what she was thinking and Gwen just blurted out, 'Let's get married'!" an insider told InTouch. "Blake didn't even blink and said, 'Let's do it'! That's how it started and now they're not looking back," their source added.
According to the magazine, "The Voice" coaches are already preparing for their big day despite their recent divorce. Blake Shelton got divorced from country singer Miranda Lambert last July while Gwen Stefani ended her 13-year-marriage with British rockstar Gavin Rossdale.
Despite the heartaches, Blake and Gwen are still willing to give marriage another try.
"The thought of planning an actual big wedding celebration is the last thing either of them would ever want to do, so they've agreed that just disappearing for a few weeks would be ideal," an insider revealed.
"They're thinking someplace very laid-back and tropical, like Mexico," the source added. It seems that the new couple is planning a secret wedding since that's a trend in Hollywood now. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at The Voice set, Blake Shelton gushes over Gwen Stefani.
"I'm thankful for Gwen for tons of reasons," the country singer said, "but mostly because she makes us all look a whole lot better on this show." He is also excited for fans to see his girlfriend perform at the show. "Wait til you see! I saw what she's going to be wearing for this performance tonight, it's stunning. It's so beautiful," Shelton said.
