Following the not so exciting "The Walking Dead" mid-season 2 finale, fans are now clamoring to here major spoilers about episode 9.
While the AMC hit zombie apocalypse-themed series will not be back until Feb. 14, reports claim that the opening episode could feature the death of a beloved character.

It was previously expected that the mid-season finale will witness the death of Jessie and her children Sam and Ron.
According to Wetpaint, after disguising themselves as walkers, Sam, who seemed uneasy with the idea will fail to fool the zombies, which will lead to his death.
Jessie, her mother, will try to save him but Rick will be forced to chop her hand and get killed in the process.
Ron on the other hand, who already has an existing anger for the Rick and his son, Carl will try to kill Rick but will end up being shot by Michonne.
All of these information were not featured in episode 8, thus many are believing that when "The Walking Dead" season 2 episode 9 returns, Jessie and her children will be killed.
But wait, there's more spoilers, Independent pointed out that episode 9 could see the death of the well-loved character in the show.
Unfortunately, the publication claimed that Daryl Dixon could finally meet his end this season.
"Negan is seeking revenge for the death of some Saviors at the hands of Rick Grimes' group," Christian Post revealed.
"The comics say Glenn will be Negan's victim, but there are some theories saying Daryl will take his place instead. There is already a leaked video showing Negan beating someone to death with his baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, the report relays."
While Norman Reedus did not mention anything about his character's fate for "The Walking Dead" season 2 episode 9 spoilers he did promise fans in an interview with Hollywood Reporter that there will be "a lot of shit" in the next episodes.
"There's a lot of shit coming down," Norman Reedus said.
"I'm completely blown away by the caliber of what we're doing right now. I left set [the other night shooting the season finale] at 7 a.m. and talked to Andy on the phone for the entire drive. We're overly excited; it's so good. When we first started this and people said, 'It's a zombie show,' it's not a zombie show right now. We have zombies but it's totally not a zombie show and everyone will know it. I'm really excited about this episode; it really starts the barometer of skyrocketing straight up into space. It's a full-throttle show from here on out and this kicks it off. It's full speed ahead from here," he continued.
It could be noted that Daryl, Sasha and Abraham was stopped on the way to Alexandria by the men of Negan.
