A Washington woman ate a regular meal of fish n' chips for the first time Wednesday after eating and drinking Starbuck's items like Roy Street Coffee and Tea, Tazo Tea, and Evolution Fresh for the past year USA Today reported Thursday.
"I just have a natural curiosity to find out about companies and how things work in the world," Beautiful Existence told USA Today. "I had to deal with a lot of food changes as they introduced products on a continuous basis. And if I didn't plan accordingly, Starbucks would be closed. "I'm a typical woman and my weight fluctuates a bit," Existence told USA Today. "But I didn't see higher weight gain even when I had more Frappuccinos."
The abundant places for the beverage through Seattle allowed Existence to complete her mission.
The franchise coffee chain's public relations department invited for lunch at the company's headquarters in Seattle USA Today reported.
Existence told Starbucks about her plans when she started, and posted updates about how she was doing to her website 'For 1 Year of My Life' just like she did with other endeavors she has pursued USA Today reported. Existence only bought things at Goodwill in 2011, and used tips in Parents magazine, and used it in her life.
Expenditures for the feat ranged between $500 and $600 each of the 12 months USA Today reported, with the final month totaling over $800.
Existence works and studies at Washington's Bellevue College.
Starbuck's established the Evolution Fresh brand on the west coast in July 2012 with locations in Seattle, and San Francisco the Associated Press reported. The brand expanded to Whole Foods grocery stores in August USA Today reported.
Starbuck's unlocked its doors to a Tazo tea store in the city in June 2012 in what was considered the lone store of its kind CNN Money reported.
