"Trainwreck" star, Amy Schumer recently posed nude for Annie Leibovitz' Revamped 2016 Pirelli Calendar where women are depicted in their natural form.
The photos were in black and white, unretouched and featured women in different sizes, shapes and forms.
Among those women, aside from Amy Schumer, were tennis star Serena Williams, "Selma" director Ava DuVernay and the first Chinese goodwill ambassador for United Nations High Commission for Refugees, Yao Chen.
Amy Schumer posted the photo in her Twitter and Instagram accounts on Nov. 30 where she posed topless, in lacey underwear, strappy heels and holding a mug.
"Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman," Schumer captioned the gorgeous photo. "Thank you @annieleibovitz,"
"For 2016, we did something completely different, but it is still simple," Annie Leibovitz said in a press release. "It is a classic set of black-and-white portraits made in the studio."
"I'm a great admirer of comediennes," Leibovitz said of the "Trainwreck" star. "The Amy Schumer portrait added some fun. It's as if she didn't get the memo saying that she could keep her clothes on."
Meanwhile, tennis star Serena Williams was photographed with her back turned, her legs spread apart as though she was on her "tennis stride," with her back muscles pronounced.
Amy Schumer and Serena Williams were also joined by other personalities with different backgrounds, professions, ages, races and ethnicities like rockstar Patti Smith, 68; musician Yoko Ono, 82; Fran Lebowitz, 65; blogger Tavi Gevinson, 19 and model Natalia Vodianova, 33.
"When Pirelli approached me, they said they wanted to make a departure from the past," Leibovitz said. "They suggested the idea of photographing distinguished women,"
"After we agreed on that, the goal was to be very straightforward. I wanted the pictures to show the women exactly as they are, with no pretense," she continued.
As for Amy Schumer's nude, unretouched photo for the calendar featuring herself in the most basic, simplest form, curves and all, the "Trainwreck" star said "I never felt more beautiful."
