One of the most talked about relationships in Hollywood lately was that that of Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas because of their 13-year age gap.
The dating rumors started a few months ago when they were spotted hanging out and seem to be enjoying each other's company.
"Kate and Nick... were all over the place -- together -- this weekend, first at Disney World in Orlando and the next day at brunch in Miami," an insider told TMZ. However, both remained quiet about their relationship not until the "Almost Famous" actress revealed that she is single.
During an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Kate Hudson hinted that she prefers to be single than stay with someone who isn't ready to settle down. "It's nice to get acquainted with myself alone," the 36-year-old actress confessed.
"You know, the goal when you get into a relationship is not to be out of the relationship. It's to try to stay in the relationship," she further explained. "But if it doesn't work, you can't force things." Maybe that's the reason for their split up.
According to Mail Online, Kate Hudson dumped Nick Jonas because she felt that he would cheat on her while he's on tour with Demi Lovato. "Kate felt Nick wouldn't be able to maintain his commitment to her while he's on the road," an insider told Life & Style.
The "Cool for Summer" singer dated Nick's brother Joe Jonas back in 2010 that's why they are really close. It will be unlikely for them to hook up since Demi is already in a serious relationship with Wilmer Valderrama.
Hudson was married to The Black Crowes' lead singer Chris Robinson before and ended her engagement from Muse frontman Matt Bellamy maybe that's why she already knew what happens when musicians go on tour. "She thought it was best to remain single," their source said.
Kate Hudson may have split up from Nick Jonas, but that doesn't mean she will stop dating. "Kate wants to pursue multiple people," the actress' pal said. She recently shared a photo of her with her friends sharing a soufflé on Instagram.
