The preview for "Chicago Fire" Season 4, Episode 8 titled "When Tortoises Fly" is already out and fans may just see Chief Boden (Eammon Walker) in action as the favorite chief is about to fight back.
The most recent episodes had been really tough for "Chicago Fire" Chief Boden following the accusations of Serena (guest star Ilfenesh Hadera) against him that puts, not just his position, but also his job at stake.
Season 4's Episode 8 dubbed "When Tortoises Fly, the next episode, however, remains a challenge for Boden and the approaching trial pushes the chief so hard that he has no choice but to fight back and confront Maddox (guest star Mark Hengst) whom he thinks is behind all the resistance against him. Christian Today, on the other hand, commented that while Chief Boden confronts Maddox to know if all his suspicions are true, the truth may not really help Chief Boden at all.
Severide (Taylor Kinney), accordingly, will try to help Chief Boden in the trial he is facing and this displeases Capt. Patterson (guest star Brian White) who had a rift with Severide in the past episodes. Severide, furthermore, will question the ability of Chief Boden to hold his position, following the negative publicity that the accusations against the embattled chief.
The synopsis released (via Carter Matt) for "Chicago Fire" Season 4, Episode 8 or "When Tortoises Fly" reads: "Chief Boden confronts Maddox, believing he is the hand behind Serena's accusations intended to skew Boden's credibility from the approaching trial. Severide reaches out to Jamie (guest star Rachel Nichols), Maddox's lawyer, in an effort to help out and Capt. Patterson questions Boden's ability to remain Chief. Meanwhile, Brett (Kara Kilmer) and Chili (Dora Madison) discover a man passed out in a garden that may have a connection to a call previous crash site and Otis looks to fill up his social calendar, but the situation hits a bump in the road."
"Chicago Fire" Season 4, Episode 8 airs on Dec. 1 in NBC.
