He's busy promoting his own album but Justin Bieber is also enjoying other genres of music like Kpop!
Setting his new album, "Purpose," aside for a bit, the "Sorry" singer helped promote Kpop star CL's (Chaerin Lee) newest song on Twitter.
"This is dope," he captioned a link of the dance performance video of "Hello B-s" on his timeline. The video features dance choreographer Paris Geobel and the ReQuest Dance Crew from The Palace Dance Studio in New Zealand.
Justin Bieber's partiality to Kpop isn't new, however. The notorious musician already visited CL's Korean agency, YG Entertainment, which also manages the global phenomenon Psy. Both CL and Psy are signed on to Bieber's agency for their activities in the US.
Fuse reported last year that CL, member of the all-girl quartet group 2NE1, will be breaking into the US music industry under music executive Scooter Braun. He was responsible for turning Bieber, Ariana Grande, Carly Rae Jepsen and others into global stars.
In fact, Beiber uploaded a lip-sync video of Jepsen's hit "I Really Like You" with CL, Ariana Grande, Moschino fashion designer Jeremy Scott, and Kendall Jenner.
This isn't the first that Justin Bieber showed off his connection with Kpop stars. CL and labelmate G-Dragon previously helped the singer promote his comeback song "What Do You Mean?" Bieber posted a photo of her in a Moschino hoodie while holding up a laptopn with "Justin Bieber, 14 Days, What Do You Mean?" written on it.
Other internationally known stars joined in on the countdown. According to KpopStarz, Big Sean, Little Mix and even basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal also joined the fray.
2NE1 is already a global phenomenon thanks to the rising popularity of Kpop around the world. They're known for their club bangers "I Am The Best," "Ugly," "Crush" "Fire" and "Come Back Home." CL, as a solo artist, came out with the catchy tracks, "The Baddest Female" and "MTBD," which were well-received by majority of fans.
CL was also featured in Skrillex' track "Dirty Vibe" together with labelmate rapper G-Dragon.
