"Oh, f**k you, Eddie!" - Daniel Radcliffe didn't hesitate to express his strong feelings towards Eddie Redmayne, lead actor in the forthcoming "Harry Potter" spin-off movie, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
In an interview with NME Magazine, the "Harry Potter" actor had one thing to complain about "Fantastic Beasts" and its lead actor, Eddie Redmayne - his costume.
"Oh f**k you, Eddie, in your brilliant costume -" Daniel Radcliffe joked. "I got jeans and a zip top for 10 years and you've got a great coat already?"
He also opened up about his post-"Potter" career moves in the said interview.
"People do ask me, 'Why do you choose such weird movies?' but I don't think they're weird, they're just stories I'm interested in," Radcliffe told the magazine. "Isn't having weird tastes good, though? I think so. I think that's better than always wanting to play the handsome hero."
Daniel Radcliffe, who shows no other sign of envy except for the fact that Eddie Redmayne gets to wear really cool and kind of hipster outfits in "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them," previously expressed his excitement over the forthcoming spin-off movie.
"I can barely keep myself in this chair," Radcliffe said of his excitement over the "Harry Potter" spin-off movie written by J.K. Rowling herself.
Asked if there was one advice he could give Eddie Redmayne, seeing there is a lot that he needs to "live up to" following the massive "Harry Potter" movies, Radcliffe said, "No, I don't think he needs advice - just like, enjoy it!"
"I don't think there's anything to live up to as well, especially because it's not like there's original source material which is a very strong narrative," Radcliffe pointed out. "You know, the Fantastic Beasts book is really cool, but it's a bestiary. I hope he's really enjoying it and not feeling too much pressure."
