For months fans have been crying over, denying and speculating over Kit Harington's seemingly fatal scene as Jon Snow during the "Game Of Thrones" season 5 finale.
After months of agony, HBO finally released a poster that confirmed the actor's resurrection.
This new poster wasn't exactly a shocking announcement for fans that closely followed the Commander's fate after that deadly stabbing. Winter Is Coming already published behind the scenes photo of Harington dressed as his famous character filming in Ireland.
The Week also implied out that Ian McShane's casting for a one-off appearance as a "gruff ex-soldier who found religion... now a no-nonsense rural priest who ministers to the poor of the countryside" could be the one to bring Jon Snow back from the dead.
Pop Goes The News noted that McShane's character will be "responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you're never going to see again."
If this is pertaining to Kit Harington's Jon Snow, then he could be the one to resurrect the Lord Commander, assuming that he did die during that heartbreaking finale.
However, BBC noted that he could be bringing back other characters in the series, like Catlyn Starks (as Lady Stoneheart), or even The Hound.
Harington's fellow cast mates have tried to keep his return a secret. John Bradley, who plays Samwell Tarly, previously insisted that his onscreen best friend was indeed already dead.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, also tried to veer away from giving an actual update about Kit Harington's fate as Jon Snow.
"I think that he loves us," she told Entertainment Weekly when asked about Harington's presence in the filming sites, "I think that he misses us and I think that we like to mess with those people who are snooping around our set, trying to get information that they don't really want to know."
Although HBO's poster didn't explicitly say that Jon Snow was indeed alive, it still gave fans hope that they will see Kit Harington again in April.
