Timothy Bradley OKs Third Fight With Manny Pacquiao Next Year

| By

Freddie Roach and Bob Arum have dropped a lot of names for Manny Pacquiao's next fight.

The Filipino boxer is gearing up for what could be his last fight due to his political ambitions but up to now, his camp is yet to find a suitable opponent.

The latest boxer to get dragged into the discussion is Timothy Bradley who he already fought twice and got split results.

The two-time and current WBO welterweight champion was asked about potentially becoming the man on the other side of Manny Pacquiao's next fight and like a true fighter, he is on board with the challenge.

"I heard the name Manny Pacquiao mentioned, would you entertain another fight against Manny Pacquiao?" his co-host asked him during metroPCS Friday Night Knockout on truTV to which he replied.

"I got a little experience with Manny Pacquiao. We got over the match. We probably can do, probably on April for his last fight. Absolutely. Why not? I think it would be fun?"

Timothy Bradley entered the talks for Manny Pacquiao's next fight because of Freddie Roach who expressed disgust over the American fighter's trainer.

"This guy waits for the camera to get on him ... some of the fans really enjoy that [stuff]," Roach said as per report by Los Angeles Times. "He thinks his fighter can beat my fighter because of him. I'd like to show him he can't."

The first Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley took place in 2012 wherein the latter came out triumphant via unanimous decision. Many critics deemed the result controversial. Even WBO announced Pacquiao should have won that bout.

So the second part of their rivalry happened on April 2014. Pacman got the victory in the rematch, ending Bradley's streak in the process.

Manny Pacquiao's next fight is set to get on the ring again on April next year and Arum claims it will be his last. The Filipino fighter's camp said they will announce the name of his opponent by January next year.
