According to Attack of Fanboy episode 20 "Warning from Jaco! Frieza and his 1,000 Soldiers are Drawing Near!", half of the episode revolved around Frieza, while most of the scenes follows the "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" saga which include Krilin shaving his ahead.

But interestingly, Goten and Trunks met Jaco upon his arrival on Earth to meet Bulma and warn them that Frieza is coming to Earth along with his army. Unfortunately, Bulma won't relay the message to Goku and Vegeta who are training with Whis.
