After the successful Paris Games where Square Enix launched "Final Fantasy XV" burgers, people are now asking when the release date would be and will there be a PC version of the highly anticipated RPG.
"Paris Games Week attendees got a taste of Ignis' cooking, or the next best thing, I guess," Dual Shockers announced.
"At the event there was an official Square Enix food truck selling 'Final Fantasy XV' burgers.
The paddies came in Chocono and Bahamut flavor (chicken and beef, obviously), and they actually weren't half bad, which is surprising considering how terrible event floor food normally is."
GameSpot previously quoted director Hajime Tabata that new details about the game will be revealed soon.
"At the very least, I can tell you that it isn't going to be released this year," "Final Fantasy XV" director said of the game's release date. "I think we'll be able to tell you when we're making the announcement around PAX Prime, at the end of this month."
And while he hasn't revealed the exact release date of "Final Fantasy XV," he did confirm that it will happen next year.
"We can certainly say to people: it's not going to be 2017. It's going to be before that," Tabata teased.
While waiting for the official announcement of Square Enix, fans have already launched a petition at Change.Org, fo the giant gaming studio to consider bringing back the hit game to PC.
"It's been a long time since we have seen a Final Fantasy game on the PC," the petition read. "With this petition, us PC gamers hope that Square Enix will have a good reason to revive Final Fantasy on PC since it is being developed on PC with DirectX 11."
IB Times have noted that the giant studio may have been giving hints of a PC release already.
"A teaser demo of Final Fantasy XV has been shown off, hinting that a PC version is in the works," the publication claimed.
Adding that, "'Witch - Chapter 0,' was played to show off the capabilities of Windows 10 and in particular DirectX 12, which Microsoft said is capable of compiling six times more polygons than DirectX 11."
Meanwhile, Game Rant shared progress of "Final Fantasy XV," where Tabata shared details of Noctis Lucis Caelum's new outfit.
"Noctis is a member of the royal family and the other three characters are parts of various Lucian national organisations and they are each wearing the specific battle dress relevant to their individual stations," Tabata said in a Silicon Era forum. "In the Kingdom of Lucis where our heroes reside, the color black has historically been treated as a special color."
"Because of this, the attire of the royal family and those in occupations closely tied to them are unified by having black as a base coloring. This part of the lore is the reason why the outfits of all four main characters are black. For the finished game we also intend on having their clothing having effects in battle and not just being a part of the world and its background. So watch out for that too!"
Will Square Enix finally give in to fans' desire and bring "Final Fantasy XV" to PC?
