Rob Kardashian’s 2015 Weight Loss Halts Because Of Lamar Odom? NBA Player Can’t Recognize ‘KUWTK’ Star?

| By

Rob Kardashian has been as reclusive as ever for the whole year 2015 and now, after Lamar Odom's drug overdose, hospitalization and reported brain damage, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star may have hit a speed bump in terms of his weight loss journey.

Rob Kardashian has been working hard on his 2015 weight loss. A few months ago, celebrity fitness trainer Gunnar Peterson spoke about the "KUWTK" star's rather inspiring attitude towards weight loss recently.

However, Lamar Odom's recent hospitalization due to drug overdose was a terrible blow to Rob Kardashian (he even posted about it on Instagram) and with tragedy, he might have had to slow down his 2015 weight loss journey.

"Lamar was (Rob's father figure)," Rob Kardashian's sister, Khloe told People Magazine a few months ago. "Once Lamar left - and it's not Lamar's fault at all - I think Rob didn't know where to go. He was like, 'I don't have guidance anymore.'"

After being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel last month and waking up from a coma, Lamar Odom has been having difficulty remembering his family and friends, which may have included Rob Kardashian.

"We tell him that he had a brain injury, but we can't tell him how that brain injury was caused, because that will set him back," Khloe Kardashian told US Weekly. "He's really confused a lot,"

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reported that Lamar Odom has been very worried about Rob Kardashian after Khloe Kardashian said in an interview that Rob was "wasting his life more and more" by letting depression take over him.

"If there's one person who's fragile and in touch with his feelings, it's Lamar," a source said. "He heard what Khloe said in People magazine about Rob wasting his life, and he knows it was said out of love, but he worries that Rob isn't strong and he may not respond well to pressure to get his life together. Lamar has asked Khloe to go easy on Rob."

With the tragedy brought on by Lamar Odom's drug overdose and all the pressure Rob Kardashian has been receiving from his family, it's completely understandable that his 2015 weight loss journey may have taken a back seat for now.
