Two years prior to its scheduled release date, yet there are already reports as to what fans could expect of "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" plot.
Marvel introduced a galaxy dimension to their Cinematic Universe last year.
Screen Rant claimed that the surprising success of the film could be attributed to the "strong and charming, yet deeply flawed characters," including its villains.
And speaking of villains, "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" plot will reportedly see more of the relationship between conflicted sisters, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nebula (Karen Gillan).
In her interview with Comic Book Resources, Karen Gillan dished out a very interesting "Guardian of the Galaxy 2" plot that will explore the relationship of the sisters.
"I think what I'm really excited about it delving into the sisterly relationship between Gamora and Nebula," she quipped. "I think that we're going to see a little bit more of that, and it's going to be a bit more fleshed out."
Meanwhile, Chris Pratt, who plays the leader of the troop Star-Lord, has shared some juicy information about sequel's plot.
In his interview with Digital Spy, the "Jurassic World" star revealed how he keeps in touch with director James Gunn.
"We've talked a little," Pratt revealed when asked if director James Gunn is already working on the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."
The 36-year-old actor also added that there are already songs lined up for his playlist.
"I know some of the songs that are going to be on Awesome Mix Vol 2," Chris Pratt revealed.
He then teased how great the sequel will be, hinting that "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is bound to be emotional.
"What I will say is that [Gunn's] pitch and his ideas legitimately put tears in my eyes. It is so good, it's so good. I can not wait to get started on it and I can not wait for people to see what he's going to pull off with this second movie."
He added that Marvel executives have already read script and that everyone is confident with James Gunn's work.
"It's so big and so good," Pratt exclaimed.
"From what I understand, Marvel [heard Gunn's pitch] and they said nothing. [It] was that perfect. There was no micromanaging of the idea. They just love it so much they didn't have any notes for it. It's going to be remarkable."
With the plot seemed to be all set, James Gunn will reportedly commence with the shooting of "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" sometime in February next year at the Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, GA.
"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" release date is set on May 5, 2017.
