Motorola Moto X enthusiasts now have the option of a Bamboo back plate for their phone's customization tool Moto Maker.
"Since each back is made from real bamboo, no two devices will ever be the same. It's truly a smartphone as unique as you are," Lior Ron, corporate vice president at Motorola told Digital Trends.
The cover is only available online and costs $100 for the $99 device and a two-year contract. The news is the latest since preliminary information suggested there would be three other backs in teak, ebony, and rosewood.
Consumers are however able to determine how much memory they want to have on the device, and tack on more accessories the official Motorola blog reported.
Consumers can also control their Moto X smartphone device with their voice when it is released Wednesday. The phone also has an option called a feature allowing consumers to launch the device's camera app, and an ability to save its battery when a user chooses to operate it.
The Moto X measures 4.7-inches, has a 1,280-by-720 display with 316 pixels per inch, has a round back with Motorola's X8 mobile computing system consisting of computing chips, a 1.7 gigahertz Qualcomm snapdragon S4 Pro, a natural language processor, and contextual computing processor that controls the devices sensors PC Magazine reported.
The phone was a hot item on Cyber Monday, shutting down Motorola's website due to the influx of people eyeing the device, and wanting to buy it.
The company therefore offered two additional opportunities for consumers to buy it. These were Dec. 4, and Dec. 9.
The company also promoted the offer via their Twitter account.
"Put this DIY (do it yourself) project on hold. Trust us," Motorola said in the posting.
The phone is Motorola's inaugural phone from its deal with Google in 2012.
