A teen faces 13 charges in connection with the rape and killing of Amanda Blackburn, pregnant wife on an Indianapolis pastor, Davey Blackburn.
According to ABC News, an 18-year-old teen identified as Larry Jo Taylor was charged with three counts of murder, carrying a handgun without a license, car theft and property theft and robbery resulting to serious bodily injury, among others.
According to Indianapolis court, fits the physical profile of Amanda Blackburn's killers, a seen in a surveillance video from the Blackburn residence on the day of her murder. Taylor also has existing charges for public indecency and public nudity, according to Indy Star.
Two other suspects identified as Jalen Watson and Diano Gordon, were also arrested in connection to the case, according to Fox News.
Amanda Blackburn's husband, an Indianapolis pastor, reportedly returned home from the gym on the morning of Nov. 10 to find his critically-wounded wife. Amanda died two days later in the hospital, after her unborn baby.
Despite this, Davey Blackburn forgives Amanda's murderers.
"If there is one thing I've learned from Amanda in the 10 years we were together, it's this: Choosing to let my emotions drive my decisions is recipe for a hopeless and fruitless life," Davey said in a statement, as reported by The Washington Post.
"Today I am deciding to love, not hate," he added. "Today I am deciding to extend forgiveness, not bitterness. Today I am deciding to hope, not despair,"
According to Davey, Amanda's murder did not shaken his faith and he continues to draw strength from her.
"Amanda's journal entry just a few days before - she journalled every day of her life - just a few days before she was killed," the Indianapolis pastor said of his wife, Amanda.
He added: "She put something in there that just spoke volumes to us that we're deriving strength from. She said, 'We don't know what the future holds but we know who holds the future and that's Jesus."
