A sneak peek for the upcoming 'John Wick 2' is revealed in the new set photos posted on Twitter by writer Priscilla Page, where Keanu Reeves who plays John Wick is seen wearing a dapper suit while filming an intense action sequence.
Writer Priscilla Page, in her Twitter post, shared 4 images of Keanu Reeves in action with the caption: "this is the only thing I care about." In the new set photos, Reeves is dressed to kill, where he rumbles with two men in black jacket and black jeans while in the other two images, Reeves is pointing a gun to the men.
Last week, in a set photo published by Daily Mail, Keanu Reeves is seen with a bloodied face while filming scenes in Manhattan's Chinatown in New York City. The 52-year old actor is still wearing John Wick's slick suit in a chase scene with co-star Riccardo Scarmarcio, who is reportedly playing a villain role in "John Wick 2."
While filming the chase, Reeves, who wore a bloodied and cut up face, seems to be in pain. He also carried a pistol, which he held close in his stomach, perhaps trying to hide it from onlookers or trying to cover a wounded stomach.
Production for "John Wick 2" started on October this year and is reported to move to Rome early next year.
Helming the sequel is Chad Stahelski, without his "John Wick" co-director David Leitch, as the latter is also preparing to film the Charlize Theron-starring action film, "The Coldest City."
Reprising their roles for "John Wick 2" are Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo and Tom Sadowski. Also starring is Bridget Moynahan who will be playing the role of Helen Wick. To be introduced in the sequel are "Orange is the New Black" star Ruby Rose and Peter Stormare with Common who will be taking on the role of a top bodyguard and main villain who works for a mysterious female crime boss.
And although not confirmed, it is speculated that this female crime boss will be portrayed by Ruby Rose.
