"Arrow" season 4 episode "Lost Souls," which featured the rescue of Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), saw Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and girlfriend Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) got into a serious big fight, the first of their young relationship.
They had an argument whether they need to prioritize saving Ray, who happened to be Felicity's ex-boyfriend or not.
It was a tensed moment for Olicity but that will not be the last the couple will go through. Rickards said her character and Amell's will meet more challenges regarding their relationship and they will be 'heart-wrenching.'
"Oh, yes," she exclaimed when asked by E! Online if Oliver and Felicity will be tested even more in future "Arrow" season 4 episodes. "There's a lot more Olicity coming up that is actually going to be pretty heart-wrenching."
"Whether or not it's a dramatic fight, or devastation, or a big life change, there are a few more concepts that are going to come up in their lives that are huge and provide grandiose Olicity moments," she explained.
The challenges might not include a third party though, at least not Ray Palmer. EP Wendy Mericle said in previous "Arrow" season 4 spoiler that there is no more romantic feelings to be dug between Felicity and the former Palmer Technologies owner.
"The most surprising thing for us was that we don't feel like there is any residual tension, romantically, between the two of them," Mericle told The Hollywood Reporter.
"We debated a lot in the writers' room if Felicity and Ray would try and rekindle their romance and that just didn't feel natural. After everything they have both been through, not to mention that she's absolutely 100 percent in love with Oliver, they are in a really good place in their friendship and there are no hard feelings between them."
"Arrow" will not be on TV this week. Show will return on December 2 for the episode called "Legends of Yesterday" which is the second part of crossover episode with "The Flash" to introduce new spinoff series "Legends of Tomorrow."

Meanwhile, Felicity, Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage."
