Google Glass users can now capture photos with the connected eyewear thanks to the latest addition from Google the company said in a blog post on its Google Plus site.
This is done through a built-in screen and camera which recognizes the eye is moving in order to shoot the photo.
"Glass is about helping you look up and experience the world around you without getting bogged down by technology," the company said in the post. "Based on this philosophy, we've got a new setting that lets you quickly and easily capture the moments you care about with a simple wink of the eye."
Users can also transfer YouTube videos directly from the device. Individuals can also view dialogues they have via the device's screen. Those who are members of Google Music Play can regulate their music selections, and lists.
A lock screen also stops people from viewing information on the device. An iOS app is also completed, and will be unveiled when Google launches another addition, which could give users the ability to order groceries, and view recipes.
"It is a remarkable progress of technology and the possibilities of innovation around it limitless," Manoj Menon, managing director at consulting firm Frost and Sullivan told The Daily Mail. "However, it comes with new issues that we need to understand, not least the worries over security and privacy."
Google has continued to evolve Google Glass. The device currently consists of allowing users to send friend requests to three of their close acquaintances, and listen to music.
Users can also view their e-mail, educate themselves on things they see with the glasses, and obtain driving directions.
Introduction into optometry offices is also a possibility. This would be done through VSP or Vision Service Plans which gives Google employees health care benefits for their eyes.
