"Bourne 5's" plot is still under the wraps but in the latest set photos published in Daily Mail, Matt Damon is seen with a massive wound in the head with blood all over his face.
The upcoming "Bourne 5," which is set to be released on July 29, 2016, is still filming in London, where Matt Damon was also recently seen filming on a rooftop, pointing a gun to a man. On Wednesday, Damon, who wore the same black sweater, dark brown jacket and blue jeans when he was seen filimng on a rooftop, films his most dramatic scene yet.
And while little is still known about the plot of "Bourne 5," Matt Damon in a recent interview with TheWrap revealed details about his upcoming film.
"[Jason Bourne] has his memory back, but that doesn't mean he knows everything," Matt Damon told TheWrap. As previously revealed, Damon will be back as Jason Bourne in "Bourne 5" but the rogue CIA agent will be suffering from amnesia.
"It's 12 years since Jason Bourne has been on the grid. So we have to answer the questions, 'Where's he been? What's he doing? What gets him going again?' So once we solved all that, then we had a movie," Damon added.
These new details add up to what Damon also earlier revealed (via Buzzfeed) about the timeline of "Bourne 5."
"We always looked at those movies as really about the Bush presidency, and so we kind of had to wait for the world to change," said Damon. "Without giving too much of it away, it's Bourne through an austerity-riddled Europe and in a post-Snowden world."
"Bourne 5" will be directed by Paul Greengrassm who also directed the first three films in the "Bourne" franchise. It will feature an all-star cast including Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Julia Stiles and Vincent Cassel, who will be playing the role of the main villain.
