What is up with Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift and why can't they stop all the beef between them?
The "Pinkprint" singer and the "Bad Blood" crooner are reportedly feuding again over the American Music Award's Artist of the Year.
According to Hollywood Life, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj are both vying for the AMA's Artist of the Year Award and this time, the rapper/singer is quite confident she will take home an AMA trophy.
"Nicki's already celebrating the fact that she's going to be named Artist of the Year at the AMAs," a source close to Minaj told the website.
The report added that Nicki Minaj is already popping champagne with her boyfriend, Meek Mill in the days leading up to Nov. 22, the day of the awards show.
"She's been telling those close to her that Taylor simply can't and won't beat her," the source said, adding that the rapper is already memorizing her acceptance speech.
However, the source clarified that Nicki Minaj meant no disrespect towards Taylor Swift, nor wants a part two of their previous feud.
"She's not trying to disrespect Taylor or any of the other artists nominated in the same category," the source said. "She feels it in her heart that she's going to own the award show."
Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj's feud started when Minaj went on a Twitter rant about the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards wherein the "Bad Blood" singer got nominated for the Video of the Year Award and she wasn't.
"If I was a different 'kind' of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well," Minaj wrote on Twitter. "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,"
Although Nicki Minaj didn't mention any names, Taylor Swift thought the rapper was throwing her some shade over her "Bad Blood" music video, which featured skinny supermodels like Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne.
"I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against eachother. Maybe one of the men took your slot," Swift Tweeted.
