The preview and synopsis is out for "Chicago Fire" Season 4, Episode 7 titled "Sharp Elbows," where things might turn 360 degrees for Severide: a chat with his father and the chance to see him go on the offensive.
Carter Matt, in its report, shared the synopsis for "Sharp Elbows" that reads: "Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) finds himself in the middle of the fiasco concerning a female neighbor (guest star Ilfenesh Hadera), who he believes is setting him up. Severide (Taylor Kinney), who is still on probation, from his altercation with Captain Patterson (guest star Brian While), receives a surprise visit from his father (guest star Treat Williams) and discovers some interesting information on Patterson that could be a game changer. Meanwhile, romance blossoms at the Chicago Fire Department gala."
"Chicago Fire" Season 4, Epsiode 6, "2112," had seen the growing rivalry between Severide and Patterson, and how their conflict had put a person's life at risk. One of the episode's highlights was an argument between Severide and Patterson after they found an unconscious man whose head was bleeding. Their argument, consequently, made the situation more critical.
"We need to pull him out of the car and just load and go," Severide suggested to Patterson.
To which Patterson replied, "Negative. I didn't ask your opinion."
The incident, apparently, had Severide being punished for insubordination although it was quite clear that Patterson was at fault and was obviously undermining Severide.
"Sharp Elbows," according to MNR Daily, will have things change for Severide after a surprise visit from his father, who shared to him interesting information about Patterson, which Severide might be using to his advantage. The report added that Severide will do anything to secure his job, and that may include blackmailing Patterson.
The previous episode was also about Chief Boden, who got into trouble after Chief Ray Riddle (Fredric Lehne) paid a woman to set Boden up, which may cost him his job and freedom. The upcoming "Sharp Elbows" episode, however, will have Boden figure things out and get rid of Riddle, including the case against him.
"Chicago Fire" Season 4, Episode 7, "Sharp Elbows," will air on Nov. 24 on NBC.
