Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux is not your typical couple who prefers spending their honeymoon all alone in a romantic getaway.
They decided to hang out with some friends including Jimmy Kimmel, Courteney Cox and Jason Bateman in the popular tourist spot Bora Bora.
During an interview with Extra TV, the 44-year-old actor explained why they chose to spend their honeymoon with their pals.
"It was a fantastic honeymoon. We had thought about it; we could just do a normal honeymoon, or we could go with some friends, keep the party going, relax, and have fun," he said. "It was really special, it was really beautiful."
However, what seems to be a perfect honeymoon for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux turned out to be a nightmare. New reports revealed that one of their friends died on their honeymoon.
Radar Online was able to get an investigative report from the San Diego Country Medical Examiner's Office regarding the death of Carmel Musgrove.
Based on the document that was dated Oct. 6, Joel Silver's 28-year-old assistant died of drowning while she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
"Now Jen's beautiful memories of her honeymoon are turning into a horror," their source said. "The authorities are trying to determine where the drugs her friend consumed before her death came from."
Jennifer Aniston's publicist claimed that the unfortunate incident was just a coincidence.
"Her honeymoon was well over, and she was already back in Los Angeles when this horrible tragedy occurred," Stephen Huvane said.
Carmel Musgrove, who is also an associate producer of "Non-Stop," reportedly smoked marijuana with a male friend before she was last seen in her room at around midnight of Aug. 19. She was found naked and lifeless on a shoreline that's just 400 yards away from her bungalow the next day.
Based on the autopsy, Musgrove had cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol in her system at the time of her death. They also found her wet bathing suit and other drug paraphernalia in her room.
"Jen will never be able to think about her honeymoon again without remembering how her friend lost her life. It's now a real nightmare in paradise," a source said.
After this unfortunate incident happened, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux may probably prefer spending their second honeymoon on their own.
