Sofia Vergara and Joe Mangianello's wedding weekend pushes through amidst Sofia Vergara's frozen embryos case with ex-fiance, Nick Loeb!
To kick things off, the "Modern Family" star and "Magic Mike" actor welcomed their friends and family to a gorgeous cocktail party.
Sofia Vergara and Joe Mangianello shared drinks with close loved ones on a private breach at The Breakers Palm Beach, Florida, E Online reported.
Meanwhile, the couple's famous celebrity friends are expected to arrive before the wedding this weekend.
According to reports, Sofia Vergara and Joe Mangianello spared no expense over their nuptials - over 100 hotels rooms and 50 private homes have been booked to accommodate the guests.
Despite all the extravagance of the event, guests will reportedly be asked to turn off their cellphones (or at least, take no pictures) before entering the events laid out for the whole weekend.
Sofia Vergara and Joe Mangianello's wedding comes after the "Modern Family" star's frozen embryos case against Nick Loeb was publicly revealed.
Before being with Joe Mangianello, Sofia Vergara was engaged to businessman, Nick Loeb. Prior to their split in May 2014, the then couple decided to have Vergara's eggs cryopreserved for a later time when they finally decide to have babies.
However, after their split, Sofia Vergara wanted the frozen embryos to be destroyed while Nick Loeb wanted to have the babies through a surrogate mother.
"I don't like promoting my private life," the actress said in a previous interview. "And I don't want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this."
"It has nothing to do with whether it's her baby or a baby," Nick Loeb said of the frozen embryos battle with Sofia Vergara. "Lives were already created. I wouldn't toss them aside."
Nick Loeb added that he has offered Sofia Vergara to waive all financial responsibilities if she just allowed him to have the frozen embryos, however, the actress remained adamant.
"I want these children to have the best lives possible. There's nothing more that I want to do than bring these children to life," Loeb said.
