Is Jon Snow really dead?

That is the question most of the "Game of Thrones" fans are still asking.

And with the season 6 arrival in April, fans are dreading that their beloved bastard will not be appearing in the highly successful HBO show anymore.

While Kit Harington, the actor who played Jon Snow, insisted that he's really out of the show, many are still hoping that he could just be saying that to surprise the viewers.

Main stay Maisie Williams, who plays Snow's step sister Arya Stark, has finally opened up about he knowledge to Snow's fate when "Game of Thrones" season 6 arrives.

In her interview with Christian O'Connell's Absolute Radio breakfast show as reported by Daily Mail, the "Game of Thrones" star bluntly said that Kit Harington is no longer returning in season 6 because Jon Snow is definitely dead.

"All the time people are asking me if Jon Snow is alive and the answer is no! He's dead! I promise," she revealed. "I think you're in denial about it for a long time when you see the death of a big character but I can't help but think it makes for such a great storyline!"

And while her statement clearly crushed any hopes of Jon Snow's survival, Maisie Williams explained how the show is made that way, and that no one is safe even if its the biggest character in the series.

"It keeps you coming back for more. My favourite character was Ygritte. But then she died!"

However, despite Masies Williams' claim, there were reported leaked photos of Kit Harington reportedly filming a new scene for "Game of Thrones" season 6.

"Having ditched his blacks, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, was standing tall in Stark clothes with his sword on his hip as they filmed on the remote Northern Ireland hilltop," Daily Mail revealed. "He wore his long locks in his signature man bun and appeared to be deep in conversation as they gathered around several expensive-looking pieces of camera equipment."

In addition to Maisie Williams, Kit Harington has also spoken about his controversial death in the "Game of Thrones' series, Vanity Fair reported.

"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over," he said. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."
