Game Stop Has 'Limited Supply' of Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4 Game Console This Weekend

Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4 enthusiasts still needing one of the game consoles can get them at GameStop this weekend.

The gaming retailer will have some in stock, with what it is calling a "limited supply" according to information from GameSpot Friday.

If you can't get the game console at GameStop, it is available through online retailer Amazon, who re-stocked the devices.
Wal-Mart also has new Sony PlayStation 4's in stock in stock, which will be available starting Sunday at 8 a.m.

Both game consoles have sold over two million since their launches.

Sony saw one million PlayStation 4 game console's sold within the first 24 hours of its release.

"It's an impressive and record-setting accomplishment for our company and for our industry, and we couldn't have done it without you," Andrew House, president and group chief executive officer of Sony Computer Entertainment said in a blog post Dec. 3 PC Magazine reported. "The best part: the PS4 journey has just begun. In addition to an incredible lineup of PS4 games from the best developers in the world, we will continue to introduce valuable new features and services to PS4 in the months and years ahead."

Microsoft's Xbox One hit the two million mark Wednesday a couple weeks since its Nov. 22 release.

"We continue to be humbled and overwhelmed by the positive response from our fans," Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of strategy and marketing for Xbox, said in a statement USA Today reported. "We are thrilled to see sales of Xbox One on a record-setting pace."

The Xbox One has an improved kinect sensor, which enables players to operate the device just by talking. Individuals can also connect the console to their satellite television equipment in order to watch TV, and flip back and forth between gaming, and viewing shows. The Xbox 360, can also do the same.
The $399 PlayStation 4 game console has eight x86 CPU-codes titled Jaguar, and is manufactured from Advanced Micro Devices according to Network World. It also comes equipped with upgraded graphics coprocessors capable of handling 1.84 teraflops of performance.

The machine has 500 gigabyte hard drive that can play blu-ray DVDs. There are also eight gigabytes of GDDR5 memory or quick network speed random access memory found in graphics cards. Game makers put 176 gigabytes of network speed a second on the machine since they wanted the computer to run faster.
