It's no secret that Erica Mena's engagement to "CSI: Cyber" actor Shad "Bow Wow" Moss did not go smoothly as they wanted it to be.
In fact early on their engagement there have been rumors of split already.
Wendy Williams of "The Wendy Williams Show" has in fact confirmed that the former "Love & Hip Hop New York" star and her "CSI: Cyber" actor fiance have already ended their engagement, VH1 reported.
"[Erica's] a very lovely girl from what I know, I don't really know her but very good-looking woman, Wendy Williams said.
"But when Bow Wow got engaged to her after only dating for a few months, I was gagging. Bow Wow, your mom is going to flip. I know guys like girls like that but they normally don't bring them home. And they definitely don't engage them, with the ring. Sorry Erica, I'm just calling it like it is. Pow! Pow! Okay, so they got engaged and I've been saying this all along, if you recall, and also said they'd never make it down the aisle because either we "John Q public" are going to pressure him into rethinking his thing or his friends are going to say, 'Yo dawg, you know, she's pretty for a hooker. She's a snack but the main course? With the ring?' No."
Now, Bossip confirmed that the former reality star actress has indeed split with Bow Wow.
Apparently, Mena has already spoken about her failed engagement on her Instagram account.
According to the publication, Erica Mena has posted a photo, that has now seemed to be deleted, together with a caption about her thoughts on her failed relationship with Bow Wow.
"You are a part of the past but know I did pick you for a reason. I don't feel bad at all but I do apologize you didn't see your greatness. Now you can apologize for not living up to it," the caption reportedly stated.
Bossip noted that Erica Mena had also taken down photos of her with Bow Wow together with her engagement ring.
Prior to the reports of their split, Bow Wow and Erica Mena were reportedly planning on sharing their wedding to the public.
"We are having it, and it will be super soon," she told the pannel of "The Gossip Table" over at VH1. "It will be a destination wedding, and I'm very excited to be working with the very famous Preston Bailey."
Adding, "We're getting warmer here with the specifics! Mena also said she's working with famed wedding planner Preston Bailey on bringing the event together."
