Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton confirmed a few weeks ago that they are dating which started out rumors that they already planned their divorce so they can be together.
The 39-year-old country musician ended his marriage to Miranda Lambert a few months ago and both claimed that they got cheated on by their partner.
The 46-year-old songstress, on the other hand, didn't reveal the real reason for filing a divorce on her estranged husband Gavin Rossdale.
However, reports on the 50-year-old rockstar's cheating scandal with their former nanny Mindy Mann came out just recently which shocked the whole world.
According to US Weekly, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton got closer after their divorce because they can relate to each other.
"Both he and the mom of Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months, have been through horrible marriages and are bonding over that," a source close to the songstress revealed. "The relationship is very new, but it's a lot of fun."
The two also got together to seek revenge on their exes.
"Blake kind of wants to get back at Miranda," an insider revealed.
No wonder they decided to announce they are dating just before the CMAs knowing that the 31-year-old singer would be there to receive an award.
The No Doubt lead singer also wants to show the Bush frontman that she has already moved on.
"After everything Gavin has done, she hopes he sees what he's missing," a source close to Gwen said. "Her being happy is the best revenge. And she deserves it."
It seems that their plan has worked because Miranda Lambert is reportedly heartbroken about what Blake Shelton did to her.
"She doesn't understand why they (Blake and Gwen) had to make things official that night," an insider told Hollywood Life.
"It was so insensitive, she was with this guy for almost a decade and this is how he treats her. She feels like she doesn't even know who he is anymore," their source added.
Gavin Rossdale, on the other hand, regrets cheating on Gwen Stefani.
"Gavin will never stop loving Gwen. She's the love of his life and the mother of his children. He never wanted to divorce, and he wishes they could have stayed together," an insider said.
