Are the Kardashians really that mean?
Reports claim that Khloe Kardashian's family advised her to leave Lamar Odom's bed side while he was in a coma last month - but for a good reason.
Ever since Lamar Odom was admitted in a hospital after being found unconscious due to drug overdose in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13, Khloe Kardashian never left his bed side. This worried the whole Kardashian clan, reason why they encouraged her to leave Odom for a while and relax.
"Just recently I've been in the hospital for almost three and a half weeks straight," Khloe said, according to PerezHilton.com, "And finally everyone was saying, 'Khloé, you have to get out of the hospital and just for an hour, go to the gym and do something that's for you. Nothing's going to happen to Lamar,'"
"I had such anxiety going to the gym, but as soon as I left, and Kendall and I worked out with my trainer, I felt like, 'Oh my god, I'm okay. I'm a human again!'" she said.
Last month, Khloe Kardashian announced that her divorce with Lamar Odom has been put on hold, after the tragic incident.
"There are too many other important things, too many medical things," Kardashian told People Magazine. "It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."
On the other hand, TMZ reported that Lamar Odom is currently having a rough time recovering from his drug overdose.
According to sources, the former NBA player cannot recognize some of his friends and family members.
"Lamar can't recognize longtime friends and even family members when they come to visit," TMZ wrote. "We're told docs believe he's suffered significant brain damage. We're told he's only able to speak a word here and there, and at times he seems 'empty.'"
