Nene Leakes rumored to return on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 9.
Previously, Kenya Moore caused uproar on social when her false claims surfaced on Twitter that "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Season 8 debuted 3.7 and its rating is doing well without Nene Leakes. However, in a rating released by Nielsen the reality show only debuted at 2.9, Lalate reported.
The show's ratings drop rumors may have triggered the showrunners decision for Nene Leakes cameo on Season 8 that has been revealed last month. Thus, many have speculated that her appearance could pave her way back on Season 9.
"Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Season 8 is currently filming in Jamaica and sources revealed that her appearance was unannounced to the cast members, Design and Trend reported.
In an interview with "The View" Nene Leakes was asked about her possible return "RHOA" Season 9.
"Maybe. Maybe not. 'Housewives' has been very good to me. The platform has been amazing. It's opened up many doors and opportunities for me, as you can see. And lots of girls would like to imitate the NeNe Leakes brand," she said.
She added that she didn't return on the Season 8 because she felt like she was "ganged up on" by the other housewives and "it's not fair for everybody to come at you at once and everybody trying to make you appear to be something that you're not."
Meanwhile, after she sat down on "The View" she called out the hosts on Twitter as "mean girls, according to Us Weekly . However, the post has been deleted.
"Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don't belong.The HATE was so real & SAD," she posted on Twitter.
