Apple TV: Bloomberg TV and WATCH ABC Apps Come to Set Box

Users can now watch Bloomberg TV, and ABC's Watch ABC via the Apple TV set box.

Users can get on-demand and live programming depending on where they are CNET.com reported Wednesday. The device also has Crackle, a program which allows people to view their favorite flick on the internet, television shows at no cost, and original online content.

Those who have videos in Apple's iTunes store can see the media on their televisions via the device's cloud technology, or place where users can access apps from.

Apple TV received the HBO Go, Hulu Plus, Watch ESPN, and Major League Soccer apps this year are also available. The future looks bright as Time Warner might bring an app of its own to the box.

"There is the other question of whether or not we ought to make some of these online services available on the set-top box," Rob Marcus chief operating officer at Time Warner Cable told CNET. "I think that's an interesting concept, and we're certainly open to. To scratch that itch that customers have, we've been...on the forefront within the cable industry of making our video product available on an increasing number of IP-enabled devices. When TWC TV is available on the Roku, it's sitting next to Netflix, so the customer really has access to all of the services that they may enjoy, which I think is the right solution for customers. We continue to view the online video viewing as a positive for the broadband business."

Korean television is available in the meantime by way of KORTV network.

According to The Telegraph, former Apple chief executive officer Steve Job, who passed away in 2011, informed his biographer, that he had figured out how to construct a TV that was easy for consumers to use, and was capable of bringing content together with other Apple's products.
