Paris Attack: Justin Bieber L.A. Show Pushes Through ‘To Bring Light And Hope To Those Hurting’

While some artists are cancelling shows like Coldplay who postponed a planned livestream concert in Los Angeles on Friday following the terrorist attack in Paris, Justin Bieber moves forward with "An Evening With Justin Bieber" at L.A. Staples Center.

Over a hundred people were killed after a terrorist attack in Paris, including some concert goers at an Eagles of Death Metal gig. Coldplay, accordingly, postponed their L.A. show saying it was "out of respect for the terrible events in Paris." Justin Bieber, on the other hand, decided to push through with his shows in hopes to comfort those affected by the Paris attack.

The pop star had three planned concerts on Friday, in promotion of his newly released album, "Purpose." After his first show in the afternoon of Friday, he tweeted: "Had a great first show but just heard about what happened in Paris. Thoughts and prayers with everyone #PrayForParis"

A little later, he followed up with a tweet, saying, "We decided we are going to continue with the livestream at 6PM to hopefully bring some light & hope to those hurting."

The tweet, which was later deleted, referred to his planned evening concert and livestreams.

In its report, Billboard said that during the concert, fans were so loud and "didn't have the Paris attack on their minds." Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, even remarked that he had forgotten how loud Bieber shows were.

On his 6 P.M. "Purpose" event, Bieber led his fans to a prayer for the victims of the Paris attack, an act which The Right Scoop called a "very classy thing" for Bieber to do.

Bieber also performed acoustic renditions of his hits like "What Do You Mean?," "Love Yourself," "As Long As You Love Me," "Sorry," "One Less Lonely Girl," "Where Are U Now," "Mark My Words," and "I'll Show You."
