Ryan Gosling just turned 35 and instead of celebrating his birthday with Eva Mendes and their baby Esmeralda Amada, he decided to go solo.
Well he wasn't really alone as he was joined by some of the finest actors in Hollywood today including Christian Bale and Steve Carrell.
According to Mail Online, the screen heartthrob had his game face on as he left his young family at home to celebrate his birthday in Los Angeles where he promoted his new film "The Big Short."
He looked dashing that night in his navy blue suit and managed to flash a smile on the red carpet.
Ryan's co-star Brad Pitt wasn't able to attend the premiere because he was allegedly in Cambodia with Angelina Jolie who was there to shoot her latest movie.
"The Notebook" star also has a good excuse to skip the premiere, but he decided to work instead of celebrating his 35th birthday. Could the break up rumors be true?
There were reports that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are on the verge of breaking up, but they chose to stay together for their baby girl.
"They're amicable in front of Esmeralda," a source told OK! Magazine. "But once she's tucked into bed, the tensions surface. They spend all their time either arguing or in complete silence. It's not pretty."
The Hollywood hunk has also been spotted dining alone in a romantic restaurant where he usually goes with his girlfriend. "I used to see Eva and Ryan there all the time, and they looked really happy," an insider revealed.
Another reason for the couple's fights is the lack of attention because Ryan also seeks some romantic moment with Eva. Ever since the 40-year-old actress gave birth to Esmeralda Amada, her focus has been on her completely.
"She coops up with Esmeralda and won't leave the house for days," a source said. "Ryan has all but given up trying to reason with her."
Maybe the breakup rumors are true because Ryan Gosling chose to celebrate his 35th birthday with his co-stars instead of staying with his girlfriend Eva Mendes and their baby girl just like what Brad Pitt did with Angelina Jolie.
