Former "Dawson's Creek" star James Van Der Beek and wife Kimberly took to social media on Thursday announcing that they are expecting a new baby, their fourth child.
"So grateful to share with you today that we're pregnant with our fourth child," Kimberly posted on Instagram with a black and white picture of her and husband James Van Der Beek hugging with the actor touching Kimberly's baby bump.
James Van Der Beek retweeted Kimberly's post about their new baby with a caption: "Feeling ridiculously blessed."
He posted a follow-up tweet saying, "And to any of those who may have known our news, but were kind enough to wait until we were ready to announce, may good karma be upon you."
James Van Der Beek and Kimberly married in 2010 and since then, had three children: Olivia, 5 years old, Joshua, 3 years old and Annabel, 21 months old.
In 2014, before welcoming their third child, the CSI: Cyber star said in an interview with People that he worries that raising a larger family, with 4-5 children, would be "trickier."
"There are moments where we will be dealing with the two, it will be handful and I'll think, 'Well, this is about to get even trickier.,'" Van Der Beek said.
He also said in the same interview that despite being really busy and although he couldn't sleep the same way he could in the past during his days off because of the kids, he is still appreciative of things as they are. He added that changing diapers keeps him grounded.
"The kids are the best home base you could possibly have. It tethers you to reality. I can go to work and just go as far out as I can get and I know that by the time I come home, I'll be brought right back to earth," the actor said.
