With only less than two weeks to wait before "Digimon Adventure Tri" release date arrives, new reports about the highly anticipated anime series reveal some juice information.
Apparently, the upcoming six-part anime film series will introduce a mysterious female character, which has already been teased in the trailers.
A fan noticed that the new female character, wearing glassess, is actually linked to Joe Kida, one of the original Digidestined.
"Because the place where Joe was standing looked so familiar, I decided to search for the place and I found it," the fan wrote on Tumblr. Yeah, it's the place where the mysterious girl is standing with her Digimon. So there is a possibility that Joe is talking to her."
And while there will be new characters going to be introduced in "Digimon Adventure Tri" come its release date, there are also reports that it will see the return of the main characters, which was already revealed in the marketing materials.
New versions of Agumon and Gabumon were introduced in the posters as seen in Anime News Network.
The events will reportedly take place 15 years following the events in season 1, Christian Today confirmed.
The first episode of the six-part film series titled "Reunion" will debut in limited Japan theaters on Nov. 21.
It has already however received an advance screening on Oct. 23, and live streamed via NicoNico on Oct. 25.
