Despite the hype and the tremendous success of "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie adaptation, there are new reports claiming that its sequel titled "Fifty Shades Darker" is now suffering from setback.
In addition to director Sam Taylor-Johnson's exit, the movie's progress is now reportedly delayed due to its male lead star, Jamie Dornan.
Apparently, Dornan and his wife, Amelia Warner is very busy with their newly bought five-bedroom mansion, that the shooting of "Fifty Shades of Grey" is now suffering.
According to Daily Mail, the 33-year-old Northern Irish hunk has gifter his wife and 22-month-old daughter with the mansion costing a whopping £1.75million.
"Two weeks ago Jamie Dornan was sunning himself in Ibiza with his gorgeous wife Amelia Warner and their 22-month-old daughter Dulcie," the publication reported. "But the 33-year-old Fifty Shades Of Grey hunk has now reportedly snapped up a relaxing retreat of his own, having allegedly laid down a whopping £1.75million on a mansion in the Cotswolds. Hidden away in a secluded woodland area, the five bedroom house is split over three floors in a remote village."
In addition to their new home, Jamie Dornan and his wife are also expecting a new baby.
"Dornan is having another child with his wife, Amelia Warner, and wants to have a break as his family prepares for their new addition," said Inquistr. "In light of this news, Dornan has request some time off in order to spend a little more time with his wife and child."
And while it was never clearly stated that Jamie Dornan had something to do with "Fifty Shades Darker" shooting delay, producer Dana Brunetti has confirmed the news telling AcesShowbiz, as reported by MTV that "we're nowhere near casting. We haven't gotten into anything like that. We don't even have a casting director on it yet."
Meanwhile, there is also a report claiming that after "Fifty Shades of Grey" earned over $500 million worldwide according to Box Office Mojo, an unnamed source of OK! magazine alleged that both Dornan and his on-screen partner Dakota Johnson who reportedly received $250,000 plus bonuses from the movie are now asking a raise of $20 million each.
"The word is that they're asking for at least $20 million each, plus a percentage of the backend, which could be substantial if the next film is as big as the first," the insider alleged.
Apparently, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are both very well aware that "they're indispensable to producers, and they know it!"
"Fifty Shades Darker" release date is now reportedly set in 2017.
