Derrick Rose just let his game speak regarding the NBA trade rumor involving him.
This rumor came out a day before Chicago Bulls game against Oklahoma City Thunder. Rose's team won through his lead, scoring a team-high 29 points on 12-of-25 shooting.
It was a statement game for Rose who earlier this season is doubted by some fans. Is he still one of the elite point guards in the league? Ask Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
Now, regarding the NBA trade rumor involving Derrick Rose, has the management changed its mind? It can be remembered that ESPN's Brian Windhorst revealed Chi-Town is already conditioning itself to part ways with the one-time NBA season MVP.
Derrick Rose knows there are trade rumors floating around but insists he is not moved by them anymore.
"I'm so numb to it, man," Rose said as per report by Bulls Nation. "I try to stay away from it. I know who I am as a person and a player, and I know how hard I work, how much I dedicate my whole life to this sport."
His coach Fred Hoiberg also thinks it is best for his players to ignore what media posts. He thinks Rose is doing a great job on that.
"You have to block out that stuff and I think Derrick has done a really good job of that," he told Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald. "As a head coach, honestly, I try not to read anything and I think the players have to do the same thing."
Jimmy Butler, who was reported to have a conflict with Rose, was glad his teammate stepped up.
"It means we're feeling it; feeling the game," Butler said in the locker room. "(Rose) had it going in the second half. I had it going in the first. When I was hot he continued to give me the ball; he was, 'Do your thing, brother.' I'm glad to see him out there doing what he's normally doing."
