'Suits' Season 5 Episode 11 Spoiler: Ruthless Investigator In Mike Ross's Case Identified

| By

"Suits" season 5 episode 11 will pick up shortly from where it left off in its latest episode.

Mike Ross's cover has been blown in the latest episode called "Faith." No one knows yet who turned him in but when the USA Network legal drama does return, Patrick J. Adams' character will know what its like to be on the wrong end of the law.

An investigator has been assigned to his case and according to reports, she is someone described as "ruthless."

"In Suits, in the wake of his arrest for conspiracy to commit fraud, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) finds himself at the center of an investigation - led by a ruthless government prosecutor, Assistant US Attorney Anita Gibbs (Leslie Hope) - that threatens to bring down the whole firm," Deadline wrote as it announced the air date of "Suits" season 5 episode 11 titled "Blowback."

The episode will air on Jan. 17.

So who turned in the con lawyer? Series creator Aaron Korsh said it could be anybody.

"It could have been a friend, foe, a neutral party or someone who has never even met Mike," Korsh told The Hollywood Reporter. "We went through the whole gamut and landed on someone I liked. It's not necessarily poetic, but we've seen a lot of different reactions to people discovering Mike's secret, and this is a new reaction."

In another interview, Korsh said they will pick up shortly from the moments of most recent "Suits" season 5 episode.

"We went around and around with that. We really thought about a time jump, but we ended up landing on our standard practice of moments later," he told Yahoo TV adding that it will expand throughout the rest of the season.

"Mike is on the hot seat, so is everybody else in the back six. Episode 511 is called "Blowback" - that would be a good thematic title for the last six. I feel like this is a course-change for Suits. We'd been dancing around this thing forever. There was a woman evidently [late last year] who had been a lawyer for a lot longer than Mike Ross, and it turns out she did not go to law school. She got caught after 10 years. I found it interesting that someone was able to get away with this for longer than Mike was, and now it's all coming to an end."
