With the loss of her powers, Adalind also lost her sinister streak. In previous 'Grimm' Season 5 spoilers, Clair Coffee insisted that she'll be forced to live a normal life without her powers.
However, she expressed her fear of turning back into a hexenbiest to Rosalee in last Friday's episode.
Meanwhile, Nick is doing his best to be there and protect his son and Adalind from the looming Wesen danger. Thanks to Monroe's advice, he also decided to start a new life in a different house.
Will this give the former enemies a chance to start something romantic between them? Episode two seemed to hint at a possible attraction between Nick and Adalind.
Claire Coffee, who plays the former baddie, shared that she won't be penetrating the "Scooby gang" so easily, much less start a romance with the Grimm she previously tried to kill.
"I think this Adalind/Nick relationship is kind of providing just one more layer for the gang," she shared some "Grimm" season 5 spoilers, according to SheKnows. "I think for the rest of the team, they definitely aren't so excited to have her in the fold at first and nobody is trusting her completely, so it is a slow process."
Besides, she won't be Nick's only focus. Aside from juggling parenthood, he will also be hunting a "new villainess entity" as well as stop a deadly threat that's coming to Portland soon.
"There are bigger fish to try than me getting along with Adalind," David Guintoli, who plays Nick, told Parade. "Maybe a romance will start budding. It is very bizarre. It is a Stockholm Syndrome romance."
Meanwhile, the sudden disappearance of Juliette's dead body gave fans hope that she could still be alive, stashed somewhere in one of those metal cells Agent Chavez visited in the first episode.
However, Guintoli himself dashed all hope when he told Yahoo! that he still hasn't seen a glimmer of hope in the scripts he's read.
"Sorry to have to break it to you but we are several episodes into the season and there has been no sign of Juliette," he admitted.
