In the season premiere, Adalind gave birth to her son with Nick. After asking for a truth, she named him Kelly, after Nick's recently decapitated mother.

In "Clear And Wesen Danger," he will have to learn to take care of his son, be friendly with her former arch nemesis and keep them safe at the same time. Thankfully, he'll have help.
"On the heels of becoming a new father, Nick (David Giuntoli) must make some major changes to keep his child and Adalind (Claire Coffee) safe," the synopsis from Cartermatt said. "Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) step in to help prepare for the new addition."
He wasn't there during the actual birth, having to join Agent Chavez on a mission that went south. However, he did arrive after the fact, cradling his son for the first time after some hesitation. Viewers can just see him falling in love with the infant as Adalind pleads for a truce between them.

With Nick newly-single after Juliette's death, will a romance brew between the former enemies?
Claire Coffee previously said that Adalind won't be focused on getting it on with anyone anytime soon. Aside from taking care of a newborn, she also lost her Hexenbiest powers after sacrificing herself for Juliette's cure.
"She's now having this other child with Nick and sticking around Portland, she's really finally is like, 'Wait, this is all I've got in the world and now I really have to make it work,'" she previously told Screen Junkies. "'I have no dungeons to distract me, no Royal family to be aligning myself with.'"
