With its release date set two years from now, Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman" live-action movie is reported actively gearing up alread.
According to Screen Rant, Warner Bros. has confirmed that the principal photography will commence this November.
"It's now official that 'Wonder Woman' starts principal photography in November - as confirmed by Deborah Snyder, when she recently spoke about the project at the Geena Davis Institute," the publication reported.
Meanwhile, Chris Pine, who has been tapped to play the role of Gal Gadot's love interest in the movie, Steve Trevor, reveals interesting details about "Wonder Woman" in an interview with Premiere.
"I'm super excited, of course, Gal Gadot is super talented, Patty Jenkins will perform, and we will shoot in film," Pine exclaimed. "What excites me most is to work in a movie with a superhero woman. With a woman in the lead role. I am teamed with this intelligent, beautiful and strong woman to defeat the villains and save humanity."
It's not clear though how his role would appear in the movie. In the comic books, Trevor and Princess Diana met when he crashed landed in Themyscira. The two fell in love, but Diana decided to move forward as Wonder Woman.
However, in other versions of the comic books, Trevor is a liaison between the US government and the Justice League.
Meanwhile, Gal Gadot will debut as Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" together with Henry Cavill as Man of Steel and Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016, while "Wonder Woman" is set to hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
