Jennifer Garner Is Ready To Give Up On Ben Affleck? Actor Reportedly Back To Drinking And Womanizing

| By

When it seems that everything's over between Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck after they announced their divorce, the couple gave their fans hope of a possible reconciliation when they were spotting shopping together like any ordinary married couple.

The exes looked more comfortable around each other unlike a few weeks after the cheating rumors came out.

Their former nanny Christine Ouzounian claimed that she had an affair with the star of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." However, the actor's rep denied that his client had a relationship with the blonde beauty.

Despite the cheating scandal, Jennifer Garner still gave Ben Affleck another chance. There were reports that the Hollywood hunk has decided to ditch Christine Ouzounian so he can fix his relationship with his estranged wife. Unfortunately, the alleged affair with their former nanny isn't the only reason that they got a divorce.

According to In Touch via OK! Magazine, the "Gone Girl" actor went back to his old habits which could be a reason why the 43-year-old actress ditch him.

"Jen believes that Ben's been drinking and picking up women behind her back," an insider revealed.

Garner thought that she could change her estranged husband as the two were spotted going to a family counseling center a few months ago.

"Ben was doing so well. He was going to therapy twice a week and attending church with the family," their source said.

But now Jen seems to have lost hope and felt foolish trying to believe that she can change the actor.

"This was Ben's last shot to make things right and he didn't," the insider explained. "She's done fighting the same fight." It looks like there won't be any reconciliation happening between Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, but the former couple couldn't avoid each other because of their kids.

"They feel like they have to be mature adults for their children's sake and that they will figure out the healthiest way to co-parent," an insider told Us Weekly. "They want the kids' lives to stay the same and to not have to change just because they aren't going to be married anymore."
