This season's first episode had Nick on a rampage after losing both his mother and girlfriend as well as Trubel to a group of mysterious men.
Now that he already has a son to care for, however, it looks like he'll finally have a bit more focus. According to some "Grimm" season 5 spoilers, he'll be more than a little protective about his newborn baby.
Cartermatt shared the synopsis for episode two, titled "Clear and Wesen Danger," which sounds ominously dangerous for Nick and the people around him.
Aside from seeking answers and revenge for the death of his loved ones, he will also have to face a new challenge - being a father.
"On the heels of becoming a new father, Nick (David Giuntoli) must make some major changes to keep his child and Adalind (Claire Coffee) safe," the synopsis said. "Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) step in to help prepare for the new addition."
In other "Grimm" season 5 spoilers, David Giuntoli, who plays Nick Burkhardt, revealed that a mysterious and dangerous group will be coming to Portland and the Scooby Gang will need a lot of help in getting rid of this danger.
"This group is fighting something we're only now starting to learn about-a huge rebellion within the Wesen community," he reportedly told TV Insider. "There's a groundswell of violence coming from the Wesens and the Scooby Gang will have to go up against it. And, to do that, they may have to get into bed with this secret group."
He also added to TV Line that the "Scooby Gang and other groups that you will meet throughout the season are going to be tasked with squashing this uprising."
"Grimm" airs every Friday at 10 p.m. on NBC.
