Should "Quantico" fans judge Shelby after that big revelation in the latest episode?
If it is Johanna Braddy who will be asked, it is hard to cast the stone on her character. The "Quantico" cast thinks Shelby sleeping with her ex-boyfriend's dad is crazy but is hard to judge.
"Yeah, he knows that she did," she told TV Guide. "But you know what? Sometimes you can't help who you fall for. I try not to judge. It is pretty crazy, but I'm not gonna judge Shelby in this situation because who knows where we're all gonna end up."
Shelby and Caleb had a good time while they were at Quantico academy but there are some events that made them grow apart.
Although they seemed to have separated by mutual consent, the sophisticated, sharpshooter agent's decision to sleep with FBI Deputy Director Clayton Haas (Mark Pellegrino) completely killed the chance of them getting back together.
When asked to justify why Shelby slept with both father and son, the "Quantico" cast said it is hard and there might have some can of worms that are yet to be opened, things even she does not know yet.
"Their relationship has now completely changed once that information scratches the surface," she said.
"At Quantico, you'll see their relationship develop and you'll walk through it with them, so it's the complete opposite trajectory."
As for the main case involving the bombing of Grand Central in which her Quantico classmate Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) is the main suspect, Braddy said Shelby and Clayton could be among the culprits given the fact that they were also present in the site before the bomb exploded.
"I think it can totally be Shelby. I keep telling the writers that I think it's Shelby," the "Quantico" cast said.
"I have no idea if it is, but that's who I have my finger on at this point. There are so many reasons - the ties to 9/11 and stuff I've learned about the character. I just feel like there are a lot of reasons she could've done it. Maybe she thought 9/11 was a conspiracy theory, so she's going against the American government. I don't know, but I have these justifications in my head. You have to because none of us knows who it is and you have to play your character as if you could be the terrorist. ... Now we know she was right there. I feel like a lot of signs are pointing to Shelby."
"Quantico" episode 7 is called "Go."
