Everyone's talking about the upcoming "The Flash" - "Arrow" crossover episode which the two shows did last year.
However, another Barry Allen-Oliver Queen team up is not the only one fans should be excited about. When this night comes and ends, comic book fans will find themselves smiling all the time as "Legends of Tomorrow" cast were also in the mix.
They are not just there for added actions. "Legends of Tomorrow" cast was also in "The Flash" - "Arrow" crossover episode to set up their own series which is expected to air early next year.
"Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle said shooting the crossover episodes has already wrapped up and she describes this as the "biggest" they have done.
"The crossover went amazing," she told The Wrap.
"It's probably one of the biggest in terms of scope and ambition and sheer number of characters we're putting on screen and interacting together. The last time we did this was obviously last year in 308 and obviously Barry in 208 in Season 2, and this is bigger than all of that. It's really exciting. It's very much in the "Arrow" universe, but it's cool, we're doing some fights in daylight and it has a different feel to it. It really does feel like an extended universe in a way that I don't know that we've experienced yet. It's going to be fun."
Mericle said "The Flash" - "Arrow" crossover episode is what they use to set up the stories of several characters in "Legends."
"Like with Constantine, part of the reason we did was it fit in with one of the storylines we wanted to do with our characters and that is the same here," she said.
"Oliver will have a very emotional and surprising storyline with Felicity in 408 that will have huge repercussions the rest of the season. And on the "Flash" side, the same goes for Barry as well."
"Legends of Tomorrow" cast are composed of people who already appeared in the two CW Network superhero shows. Stephen Amell earlier teased that "The Flash" - "Arrow" crossover episode will have geeks feasting as it features at least nine costumed DC characters in one shot.
