Xiaomi offers discount on select devices in celebration of the Diwali festival in India.
The first "Diwala with Mi" sale has commenced earlier today which sold out the Xiaomi Re 1s in seconds followed by another sale at 6pm. The sale will be conducted at 2pm and 6pm until the 5th of November, but buyers are advised to log on the Mi Store app minutes before sale kicks off as some of the devices sells like pancakes, NDTV reported.
Aside from the Xiaomi Re 1s flash sale, the Chinese tech giant also offers Rs 2,000 off on Xiaomi Mi 4 and Xiaomi Mi 4i 16GB which are now on sale for Rs 12,999 and Rs 10,999, while Rs 500 off on Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime cutting its price down to Rs 6,499.
In addition other devices such as Xiaomi Mi Pad goes on sale for Rs. 9,999, Xiaomi Mi Band for Rs. 799 (Rs. 200 off), Mi In-ear headphones: Rs. 299, Mi Headphones: Rs. 5,499, Mi Metal housepadfor Rs. 649, LED Light White for 199 and Mi 4 soft case black for Rs. 299, IB Times reported.
According to First Post, prospect buyers must share the flash sale promotion on mi.com/in via Facebook or Twitter to be eligible for the flash sale.
They will then be redirected to play "Light Mi Up" game for a chance to win coupons that can be used at the Mi Store app. Also, users who purchased items at the Mi Store during the three day sale period could win a Mi TV 2S that will be given each day on the sale period.
Moreover, Xiaomi confirmed that buyers who will use PayUmoney for their purchases will be given five percent cash back or up to Rs. 500 maximum rebate.
However, this promo is only applicable for purchases made on 10am, Nov. 3 and 11:59pm Nov. 5, IB Times added.
