Coming up with legen-wait for it-dary Halloween costumes have become an annual thing for Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka's little family.
Ever since they had twin daughter and son, Gideon and Harper, through a surrogate mother, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have been dressing them up for lots of different reasons. When they were babies, the couple came up with silly costumes for a baby calendar.
But perhaps one of the most amazing things fans had seen Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka do are their Halloween costumes as a family.
This year, the force is strong as the family posed for an Instagram photo, donning adorable "Star Wars" costumes.
Gideon and Harper dressed as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Meanwhile, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka transformed to Obi Wan Kenobi and Han Solo, respectively.

Prior to that, Gideon and Harper also donned another set of outfits (this time, more colorful) to attend a concert.
"The kids had their Halloween concert today they wanted to go as the Queen of Mermaids and Captain Color Pants!" Burtka Tweeted on Oct. 28.

Last year, the family celebrated Halloween as Batman characters out to wreak havoc and mayhem in Gotham City - with Gideon as Batman, Harper as Batgirl, Harris as The Riddler and Burtka as The Joker.
In 2012, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka opened up about their relationship after eight years of being together.
"I was always around when he was around, hoping the stars would align," Harris wrote for Out.com. "I just stammered around him. I couldn't take my eyes off him.There's something kinetic about him and his being."
"We have a really great recipe for a wonderful relationship, but we don't want to be the poster boys for gay relationships," Burtka wrote for the same website.
David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris got married last Sept. 6, 2014.
