Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may have ended their relationship for quite some time now, but the 23-year-old singer still seems to have feelings for her ex-boyfriend.
Usually, exes don't care much about each other especially when the cause of their breakup is infidelity.
However, the "Good For You" hitmaker has always been there for the former YouTube sensation. Justin recently had a meltdown during his show in Norway and that worried Selena.
"She reached out to his mom and left him a message letting him know she's only a phone call away," an insider told Hollywood Life.
"She thinks the pressure of the new album is getting to him and wants to reassure him that his true success as a human being is not dependent on the success of his album," their source added. Justin Bieber walked out when he got frustrated with the audience in Oslo.
He reportedly apologized for his actions via Instagram where he wrote,
"Sadly it's been a rough week for me, long days no sleep, while having to be 'on' as they would say for cameras, fans, etc. In no way did I mean to come across mean, but chose to end the show as the people in the front row would not listen."
Upon hearing this, Selena wished that someone was there to enlighten her ex-boyfriend.
"She knows how much this album means to him, but thinks he's putting way too much pressure on himself with such black-and-white thinking that this is either a fresh start or the end of his career."
Last month, Selena Gomez revealed the possibility of getting back together with Justin Bieber and opened up her true feelings for him. "I'll forever support him and love him in a way that.... We grew up together. I think people want it to be different," she told Elle.
"We're too young for that. Nobody was married. There was no.... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner," she added.
In a separate report, it seems that the "The Heart Wants What It Wants" hitmaker is just waiting for the right time before she takes her ex back.
"Selena freely admits that Justin is the love of her life, the official line is that she's just waiting for him to grow up and see sense before they get back together," an insider revealed to OK! Magazine.
Maybe after five years, Justin Bieber will finally get tired of his rock and roll lifestyle and settle down with Selena Gomez.
