"Basically, we are all a mess."
One Direction had their last leg of the "On The Road Again World Tour" last night in Sheffield, England and their last major performance before they proceed to a planned hiatus next year.
In a recent interview with Britain's The Sunday Times Style Magazine (via Xpose.ie), Liam Payne revealed that it had been a really difficult year for the British boy band and the pressure has taken a toll on them.
It was previously reported that Payne, himself, lost it in Belfast and even had a fight will fellow One Direction members Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, forcing the cancellation of their concert in the last minute.
"Liam's made it clear he's reached his limit and is trying to hold together for this tour, but is making no promises after that," the report wrote.
Payne, in his latest interview, called One Direction a "mess" saying that they are restless. He said, "None of us ever gets enough sleep. It's intense, but you've got to be grateful for that. You've got to be grateful there are people screaming for you, standing outside your hotel room."
He added that all they need now is a "little break" and assured the fans that "they are not going anywhere."
"In five years we've done four tours, five albums, we've done films. I've not even watched our films, because we are always running for the next thing. I'm really conscious that all this crazy stuff has happened to us and, you know, I haven't even taken it in. We can't even answer questions properly because stuff hasn't sunk in. I want to just sit still and let it sink in," Payne said.
But aside from being just stressed out, The Sun said in its report that the band has developed bitter rivalries and personal animosities leading to a massive divide, including an "irreconcilable falling out" between Harry and Louis. "It was very serious and their friendship has never recovered. Everyone involved in the band is well aware of the animosity between them," a source told The Sun.
