"Arrow" - "The Flash" crossover episodes aired last year gave comic book fans a taste of what superhero team in live action looks like.
Those episodes is the closest geeks got to a Justice League in such medium.
"Arrow" season 4 and "The Flash" season 2 is now set to give birth to another show called "Legends of Tomorrow" with new cast getting introduced in their episodes one by one.
LoT is composed of new breed of heroes and villains that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) worked with and fought against.
"Arrow" showrunner said "Legends of Tomorrow" cast/characters are more or less the Justice League live action version.
"I think the crossovers were sort of the first attempt at seeing what it would look like to bring a bunch of different characters together from different shows," she told Comicbook.com when asked if there is a desire from them to do a Justice League type of episode.
Adding, "It works really well. I think I'm answering your question when I say that, yes, we do talk about Legends as a Justice League of sorts. Sort of our version of it. It is, as you know from everything that's already been released, it's a group of superheroes, or 'Legends,' so to speak, out there being heroes. It does have a different tone, though. One of the things that's really exciting about it having it come up in this universe, in this context, is how different it is from Flash and from Arrow. It has a very different feel, and the time travel element is completely new to both shows. It's really fun. It's turning out to be just really bad-ass."
"Legends of Tomorrow" cast is composed of those from the two CW shows headlined by Brandon Routh (The Atom), Caity Lotz (White Canary), Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold), Dominic Purcell (Heatwave), Ciara Renee (Hawkgirl), Franz Drameh and Victor Garber (Firestorm), Falk Hentschel (Hawkman), and Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter).
Stephen Amell's "Arrow" season 4 spoiler also revealed that fans will see all "Legends of Tomorrow" cast in one shot in upcoming crossover episode with "The Flash."
